CUSTOMER: Contrada Sovrana dell’Istrice

Extension and renovation of the new central offices of the Istrice (porcupine) Contrada (historical city district). This was an ambitious project built inside the medieval town. The fulcrum of the project was this rather large spherical hall, used for the contrada’s various social entertainments. Despite being completely under ground, the presence of an internal access courtyard and the glass window supported by pillars and steel "spiders", in fact enlighten the place turning it into an attractive experience for those using it. The use of the Santafiora sandstone is once again, like in many of our cases at the heart of this project.
