Here our work was done on this Sicilian villa located on the hillside around Etna, a villa that we could now say somehow communicates with its surrounding landscape. What evoked the exotic atmosphere of Moroccan riads (courtyards), was this central courtyard which was embellished with lush green vegetation and therefore represented the fulcrum around which the house in fact rotates and developed itself. It was also characterised by the contrasting transparency of the glass used and the severity of the lava stone.
